Look on Flicker groups for different cameras and see what they can produce. I suspect that you will see better photos than you have ever taken, to date.

I would rather have have the older 'higher end' at the time camera.  I still use an X-Pro 1, it's great. Just because a new camera comes out doesn't make the older one bad. It will still be great in years to come. Your better off spending the money on lenses. They will fit any new body and are the better investment. Seriously, get the X-T1. 😊
