PP can not mimic the results of a Polarizing filter.

The color saturation can be duplicated, but that is not the TRUE reason you want a Polarizing filter.

The PF's goal is to eliminate glare from highly reflective surfaces.  In PP, you can saturate those areas not washed out by glare, but you can't easily re-saturate glare spots.

The Polarizing filter is the only filter I recommend that people simply must own.
