Re: Are polarizer worth buying? For landscape photography.

I did not have a polarizer with me on a trip to Rotterdam, where I did not know what I would find, and as I walked around I saw that a large part of what was beautiful were the reflections on the windows of buildings with very bold architecture. I only noticed when I had returned that the reflections are really much stronger than what you perceive them with your naked eye. Buildings that you can see inside through a nice veil of reflections turn into solid. I could tinker around in PP, but I would end up having to paint in the information I lost.

For general photography the polarizer is useless, but to play with reflections it is invaluable.
