Been shooting with this lens since 2015. Picked it up second hand as a replacement to an aging 18-55 3.5-5.6 DA Kit lens, Version 1 that came with my K100D. It's rarely let me down and when it fails it's the problem of the photographer. It's soft at 2.8 but is sharp at 4.0. It's not unusuable at 2.8 but you've got to work that little bit harder. Listen, It cost me £300.00 and unless I come into money it's one of three lenses that I'd happily call "lifetime". I'm happy to give it 4.5/5 with that half star missing due to the softer shots at 2.8.
