That's a fine photograph and it looks great in monochrome/B&W. Looks like fine-art! I'm surprised to see anyone photographing in the rain at night!

Canon have often released cameras and lenses during our rainy season so I end up doing something similar when I can't get out. I took this picture with the G1X when it rained every day for what seemed like a month. It's desaturated as well. It was raining quite hard when I took this shot and the camera got wet as I took this shot from an open doorway. It doesn't look like it when I view the image.

Thanks Nero,

I like it night, and rain for better cause no one would bother me, just me, my camera and the sound of raindrops.

Your picture is quite good too, maybe you should try 100mmL for the next rain session, I think the same scene will yield interesting abstracts.

I'm more surprised that you didn't capture the rain in your scene, since you are a flash user, and do night photography, something similiar to star trails will make your picture quite dramatic, I might go find me an abstract mud when it rains.
