No. I could not figure out why it was the trigger triggered like mad yet no lightning was seen, the sky was bit always asplit second after the lightning. Given the fact that I also had many lenses where I focussed perfectly fine on the subject yet the outcome was that the Oly went outside the small fcussing box anyway and focussed somewhere else, I was unsure if the setting I chose was somehow affected by something. So I thought may be my 0 second or 1/8 second (either of both) setting is still there? No one can note a 0 second EFCS but lightning sure can if it means a few ms delay (unsure).

So I wanted to  diable it, see if it indeed was somehow interfering or not and decided to try to disable and then my frustration reached quite a high level....

And what you wanted to adjust was the anti-shock mode, the delay to release shutter between shutter actuation and shutter release button press. Two different things.

Misusing the word for the right setting I looked for does not make the situation any better. I was looking for the right thing, I named them wrong.

If you are searching a oranges from a apple tree garden, you will definitely find out that garden ain't for you.

If you are looking for apples, call them oranges, can't find them in the place where you expect to find the apples the fact that you called them oranges makes no difference. It would be different if I looked for apples in a place where I can only find oranges.
