Canon 6D or 5D2 for full frame on the cheap?

I would like to supplement my new 80D with a full frame camera, specifically for use in situations where higher ISO may be needed. The 80D is a fine camera, but noisy as heck at higher ISOs. The great image comparison tool on this website shows that both the 6D and 5D2 have better noise levels than the 80D. Both cameras can be found for under $1000, and that's the sum of my budget. I'm looking for any thoughts you may have on the performance of both cameras. I use single point AF for most of my shots, if that helps. The camera will be used primarily for shooting birds in darker woodsy areas. Which camera do you feel would suit this better, especially when cropping images?
