I know what you mean.  I prefer Olympus color, JPEG, and its superior High ISO over Panasonic.  But in the end, I always end up return the Olympus camera I just bought for a Panasonic due to confusing menu system that is hard to operates.  I think you need an huge adjustment period of owning Olympus camera for years to be comfortable with it.

If Olympus is your 1st camera, and you gotten used to it, i'ts great

but if you're a Panasonic or Canon users who is used to a logical layout, switching to Olympus can feel very frustrating.  You really need to give a TIME with an huge adjustment period.

But for me, a Camera should SERVE me, not the other way around.  I can operate very Canon camera without ever reading a single manual; it is the same Tab Menu system from a simple $99 canon point/shoot to a $4000 Canon Mark1.  Panasonic is also very easy to adjust to.  Anyhow, Good Luck.
