2 x A7Rii bodies + old Nikon primes & Minolta MD lenses... loving photography again!!
7

I've been thinking about A7r ii for months now and kept waiting for FF Nikon mirrorless but can't wait anymore and decided to get two A7r ii now. Over the years I have collected many classic Nikon Ais lenses, zoom and primes as well as newer Samyang manual lenses. I love my D810 and D800 but I've tired to use with these manual lenses in live view is so slow and painful..... so, I just kept these old lenses in storage .

After spending 2400 pounds on 2 x A7r ii bodies with manual dumb adapters, I finally can use these lenses. I am so in love again. It's so easy to set three custom button for focus zoom magnification, steady shoot lens focus length and auto ISO min shutter speed, and shoot away in aperture priority mode. I have other systems for sports or actions but 99% of the time is landscape and portraits so for 2400, I have my most practical and optimum setup for IQ for large prints, without use tripod or massive back pack.

I've hand selected Nikon 24, 36, 60, 135 with Samyang 14mm primes for one A7r ii and other body for Minolta 35-70 and 70-210 manual zoom lenses. All fits inside Lowepro passport sling bag. 5.5Kg all in. Perfect.

Very very happy so far and loving photography again. Thanks Sony!

My travel kit!

Easy to carry sling bag.
