Is my K-1 viewfinder damaged or do they all have this brown tint?

Nikon with 50/1.8G, Pentax with 50/1.7K.

New camera, bought used through retail. I have to send it back within two weeks if there is any problems.

The viewfinder is noticeably darker than the D750. This is independent of lens aperture. It has a significant yellowish-brown tint which shows more greenish in the photo above than I think it is in real life, but the degree of it is well-represented in the image. It's like kicking the Kelvin WB up from 5000K to 6000K.

I don't remember my K-3 having this issue, it always seemed exceptionally bright and clear.

I'm wondering if the previous owner managed to burn out the transparent LCD taking photos of solar eclipses or something, of if this this is how the K-1 is as a result of the new AF point overlay LCD module compared to the K-3.

No, it's not tobacco stain on the eyepiece, though the color might suggest it.

Help!
