Samyang (Rokinon) 24 f/1.4 ... is this as good as it gets ?

Has anybody any experience with the Samyang (Rokinon) 24 f/1.4, specifically its notorious copy variation, and could advise from these pix if this is about as good as it gets, or whether a better/sharper copy might exist out there ?

I received it yesterday and after first couple of shots I thought it might be squiffy, but realised that the top-left corner of yesterday's horizon was so far away, and so obscured by murk that it was unfair to pass judgement. I made a few exposures again just now on a nearer horizon and cleaner air and it's looking a lot better. Images shot on A7RIII & downsampled to 24 MP in PS.

First image is montage of three shots with horizon at top, middle and bottom of frame, and lens wide open at f/1.4.

I'm actually pretty relaxed about its performance stopped down a wee bit (second image is at f/5.6).

All and any opinions welcome

Cheers, Ross.

Samyang (Rokinon) 24 f/1.4 @ 1.4

Samyang (Rokinon) 24 f/1.4 @ 5.6
