D800 dilemma

hi there! Ive been an avid follower of the forum, and only recently felt qualified enough to ask questions haha.

I have a D7000 that I’ve been using for about 7 years now. It’s been through thick and thin, more than 10 countries , and is now limping strong, albeit with some loose bits .

I went on to buy a D800 last week, used, 6k SC . Now I’ve put myself in a dilemma. I mainly shoot landscapes. I have a 11-16 tokina , a nikon 17-55 , a 50 1.8D and a 70-300 VR.

Initially I thought I’d sell off the 17-55 and get the 24-70, seeing as to how everyone sort of had to get the 24-70. However , I’ve realised it’s a pain trying to offload the 17-55. Also, an opportunity popped up for me to pick up a 14-24 for 820 USD which I feel is a steal. Knowing my love for landscape, would you pull the trigger and get the 14-24, and use the D800 exclusively for landscapes and the d7000 with the 17-55 for mid range , OR forgo the 14-24, get the 24-70 and try to offload the 17-55.

I guess what I’m getting at is, for a landscape lover, would a 14-24 with a D800 be better in the long run then a D800 with a general purpose 24-70?

Dont have the funds for both unfortunately .

Thank you!
