An honest review of Tamron 28-75mm
4

The test is done by a Chinese and the translations are a little bit off. But overall it is a very balanced and honest review.

Strengths:

1. Bang for the buck

2. Good autofocus

3. Good ergonomics for A7 series

4. Very sharp center images 28-50mm

Weaknesses:

1. Fingerprints/stains magnets

2. Average bokeh

3. Not good for video (focus breathing, narrow focus ring)

4. 75mm is not sharp

I think the focus breathing is not bad compared to other native Sony native lenses. He will be testing 28-75mm vs 24-70mm GM in the next episode, stay tuned.

Sony Alpha a7
