Red Filter

I purchased a red filter to use on my Leica SL along with an adapter to adapt the 82mm filter to 46 to fit my Leica Summilux 35/1.4.

I forgot I had the filter until the other day the filter bag fell out and as I was going through it I found the red b+w 091 filter.

Tonight I decided to try it out, shot manual raw and now have a bunch of red images sitting in front of me.

I assume that I would process the images as B+W but am not sure of a process to use. The red filter was to help promote strong contrast in b+w photography but can someone who has used filters give me some pointers in their use ?

I use capture one pro but have a subscription to photoshop as well.

The red pics look kinda post apocalyptic but that is not what I was after.

Thx

Micheal
