Should I send my D600 in for cleaning?

I am aware that sending in my Nikon D600 for cleaning is free (shipping included) because of the service advisory from a few years ago. My dilemma is that I will be going on a 3-week road trip starting in mid-June, and in real-world shooting I've never really noticed the dust/oil spots (granted I shoot mostly f/5.6 or wider, but I see myself using smaller apertures when shooting landscape during the trip). What is the typical turnaround time for sensor cleaning/replacement? I've read online that for some people it took many weeks, but most of those posts were from 2014 when everyone was sending theirs in, so I'm not sure how accurately that reflects the service time today.

I also live relatively close to a Nikon service center (1.5 hrs one way according to Google).
