Questions for the flying nuts

The first correct answers to any of these questions will receive the usual prize of a round of applause from me.

Question 1.

The first two images below show the cockpits of two aeroplanes and the question is: how many years separate the first flights of these two warplanes?

Ignore the gun turret, it is actually the tail turret, the plane is dismantled.

There are only two of these left in the world. This one is one-year into a multi-year refurbishment to ensure it does not corrode away.

Question 2

Where was I when I took the shot below?

It very long, very narrow and very, very fast.

Question 3

What is the object pictured below?

It isn't spinning.

Question 4 has 4 parts

The three images below show a tiny green aeroplane.

a. What is it?

b. What performance feature distinguished this machine?

c. What did it have before any other aeroplane?

d. How long did it take from the first pencil lines on a drawing board to the first flight of this machine?
