I have an E-M10 II and an E-P5 - I have not done a back-to-back test of the same subject, but my instinct would be that the jpeg output of the M10 is sharper and more contrasty. If I get suitable conditions over the next few days, I will have a go at setting up a test.

Thanks that would be interesting.

My observations between the two cameras have been more about usability - I prefer using the viewfinder on the M10 as fitting the VF-4 to the E-P5 makes the latter more cumbersome to use and especially to store in my bag when not using it. Granted the VF-4 gives me the option of an angled shot, but I have not found I need that very much.

I agree, the E-P5 was classy without the EVF, but very ugly with it, and awkward in a bag. The M10 II is a beautiful camera with its EVF, and had a more discreet profile for street shooting. I find it makes a difference to the overall enjoyment of a photographic session to use a beautiful tool. I never used the angled EVF either.
