Educated guess: fuse F8501 on the flash PCB has blown.

Cost of replacement fuse: $1, cost of replacing fuse: $100

see 12.8 Power (1) block diagram (page 64) top left corner.

Thank you! Could it also be the power circuit? and do you happen to know what the cost of that is? I got quoted 150 to repair power circuit issue from an american company. I'm currently on vacation in thailand where the repair shop estimated around $125usd without knowing exactly what is wrong yet until he opens it open and checks it out. Waiting for his call back to see if the price will go up or down.

About 25 km from downtown. Metered Taxi is best, fare around $10 if there is no traffic jam.

No local repair shop could repair Pana camera. Don't waste time.

I'll check that out. The guy at the shop I gave it to, told me it's the motherboard but in a confused way so I ended up taking it back. Thanks!

If you have to pay more tham $150, check this facebook group for the replacement secondhand body.

Mirrorless all market

lumix camera&lens second hand market

G7 should be no more than $200.

Looks like the warranty is only 1 year for canada hehe so i'm going to have to have it repaired. Thanks for providing the second hand market information!
