Just noticed this topic, i'm quite new to this forum and i joined it because i am a Minolta user and collector.

However i am more of a manual focus shooter (X-500/700, XM, XD7) i do have almost the entire range of AF models as well.

I've used my 7000 as well, and it is a great camera. But i must say my favorite is the Dynax 800Si. That is a pro-tool!

The mentioned 7000i is great as well, it does seem awkward by design but it is actually really comfortable in your hands. It offers the use of cards with specific settings, which you do not need if you know what you are doing.

You can buy most bodies quite cheap, if you have all the lenses: go get another one, shooting film is great!

I am thinking of buying the Dynax 5 ,,,,

i am a bit sad that my 7000 has the aperture magnet problem but it can still meter fine.. will be using it with M42 lenses  because the OVF is lovely and huge.....(or do the hack so i can shoot wide open (put some sticky in the lens aperture level)
