Anyone using a tripod leveling base?

I hate messing around with tripod leg length to get the tripod perfectly level, so I'm trying to duplicate this on a set of regular tripod legs without a built in leveling base:

So I was looking at:

http://neewer.com/product/neewer-tripod-leveling-base-with-offset-bubble-level-for-canonnikonand-other-dslr-cameras-with-1-4-thread-tripods-monopods-with-3-8-thread/

I'm thinking about hanging my D750 / Tamron 150-600mm G2 with a Manfrotto 393 gimbal head on it.

Any feedback on that or something similar like the Manfortto 438 leveling bases?

Thanks!
