M50 EVF sensor triggers lens IS even in Eco mode.

Ive just noticed that even when my M50 is in standby/Eco mode, putting my hand or anything near the EVF turns the IS on on my 70-300L.

This not only surprised me, but is very annoying as even if the camera is in low power mode the IS will use up more power.

Very poor programming on Canon's part IMO.
