Re: Used M5 arrived today!

I ended up ordering a used M5 from mpb.com who I heard about at CanonPriceWatch.com. mpb.com sells used gear, mostly in Good to Like New condition, kind of reminds me of KEY Camera a few years ago when they had a pretty good market presence. The camera I ordered was listed as Like New and really looks like it is! It cost me $529 and came with the box, original packaging inside and instruction book, the body cap, charger and 2 Canon brand batteries. The shot count was at 354 and was set to a west coast time zone, no copyright info had been entered.
I set it down next to my other M5 and went screen by screen through the menu options and set the newer body to be just like my other one. The camera did not come with a strap or rings. I kept a strap I liked from my M3 that I sold and will pick up some 12mm rings today.
I have 3 trips coming up where I plan to take my M system along and I prefer carrying a second body so there is less lens changing as I am out and about.
I paid a bit extra to get second day delivery as I leave for San Diego tomorrow, the package was delivered by Fed Ex before 9:30am.
Hope it worked well. Never buy a camera or lens immediately before a trip since it may not work perfectly (focusing, lens out of center, etc) and generally you won't realize it until after your trip!😲🤔
That was worth it for me.
Overall I give mbp.com high marks! They also have M lenses but I only saw the M5 listed for their Canon mirrorless options.
