This may (or may not) affect Fujifilm’s camera business

Xerox says it's killing its multibillion-dollar deal to be taken over by Japan's Fujifilm.

The iconic US printer and copier company announced the move in a statement late Sunday, saying it had reached a new agreement with activist investors Carl Icahn and Darwin Deason, who had bitterly opposed the Fujifilm deal.

The quotation above was excerpted from the full article that may be found at the link above.

I took this photo on April 22 of the Fuji-Xerox headquarters in Yokohama: the round 青い (blue-green) building that dominates the photo.  Immediately behind (that is, to the west) of the Fuji-Xerox building, and therefore obscured from this angle, is the Nissan Global Headquarters building.  The building with a red X in a circle to the right in this photo is the Yokohama Sogo department store at Yokohama Station, in the beating heart of Yokohama.

Fujifilm disputes that Xerox has the legal right unilaterally to withdraw from Fujifilm’s take-over of Xerox. How the fall-out will affect Fujifilm’s other operations, such as its photo businesses, is a matter upon which we can do no more than speculate at this time.
