If you post pictures in a forum post limit the number of pictures to just a few. That way, you won't violate the terms of service or annoy the rest of us.
good point.
i may have violated that rule a time or two.
what is the limit according to the terms of service?
Read the Full Forum Rules and #18 is the one of interest.
10 images. got it. I don't think I broke that rule more than a couple times in 15years.
the interesting part if I read it right is we are not supposed to post images here (on hardware forums) at all.
that rule I have broken 100s of times.
Indeed, the site started as a friendly place to get information on these new-fangled digital camera thingies. So tech talk here, images elsewhere, unless an image was relevant in sorting out a problem or describing a technique.
But it's all pretty free and easy as long as it is not abused.
A good thing too as I'm sure I wouldn't visit DPR as much if I there were no images in the particular hardware forums taken by the particular hardware.
If I had to sift through an "images forum" to find images from a particular camera I like I wouldn't bother. Also there are plenty of images that do not have exif so that is a PIA too in a general images forum.
Regards..... Guy
