Having to over-expose by 1/3 stop... anyone else find this?

So, even when using aperture priority and paying attention to the exposure meter, I'm finding that I have to over-expose in many cases (more in lower light situations) even though the camera says the exposure is dead on (in the middle of the exposure meter, thus a "correct" exposure).  It's not major but usually I have to overexpose by 1/3 of a stop in theses cases.  In bright light it doesn't seem to be an issue.

It happens mainly on full scene metering, and less on spot metering (which makes a little sense).  Anyone experience this or is there maybe an issue going on here?
