Is it worth switching from a Tamron 150-600 G2 to Canon 100-400 II ( potentially with a 1.4x III)

Everyone, I am trying to figure out if I should consider buying a 100-400 II (potentially with a 1.4x teleconverter) to replace my 2017 Tamron 150-600 G2 lens. I have been trying to find some raw images in field comparisons between these lenses at the tele ends in particular, but so far haven't had much success. If you have used both, could you share your thoughts on whether you favor one or the other, and if possible, share some Raw/unprocessed jpgs from the field? Looking through Flickr or other image sharing websites, I am struggling to arrive at an answer.

I am quite sure I would end up buying a used 500ii or 600ii ultimately (in the next 3-4 years). In this situation, would you recommend skipping the 100-400 altogether and save up for the bigger primes? I have posted some of my wildlife shots with my Tamron here (www.500px.com/mskumar) in case you want to see my usage/subjects/the resolution I am currently achieving with the 2017 Tamron. Thanks a bunch!
