Hello Amir,

I have not handled the X-t1 so I cannot give you a comparison, however I briefly owned a X-T10 which is physically identical to the X-t20 as I'm sure you are aware.  I found the X-t10 to be very uncomfortable to use, the grip area is small (even when using the Fuji or other add on grips), the buttons close together, etc.  I also found that I would have to adjust the angle of my head when using the viewfinder from what felt normal to what didn't result in my nose pressed hard against the rear screen.  I gave it a chance but ultimately decided I wasn't willing to readjust the way I've been doing things for years for the sake of conforming to a camera.  I sold the X-t10 and bought an X-e2 and I've been happy with that.

My understanding is that the X-t1 is larger and one does not need to have their eye so close to the viewfinder in order to use it.  I have seen samples from both and so far have not seen anything that would make me believe that the newer sensor is so dramatically advanced from the (very slightly) older one as to make the sacrifice in ergonomics "worth it".  Given the choice of those two cameras, I would pick the X-t1 without a second thought.  If you are coming from film, you are going to be sufficiently impressed with the X-t1.
