Pentax K-1 II: Class leading dynamic range and ISO invariance

There is a lot of talking about detail retention and nosie here:

Please compare both noise and detail retention (!) (check the vertical structures of the wall for reference):

Via ISO Invariance:

K-1II (2000 EUR) wins hands down versus the D850 (3500 EUR):

K-1II (2000 EUR) wins hands down versus the A7R III (3500 EUR):

https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/image-comparison/fullscreen?attr134_0=pentax_k1ii&attr134_1=sony_a7riii&attr136_0=7&attr136_1=7&attr176_0=off&attr176_1=off&normalization=compare&widget=611&x=-0.6351282177736498&y=0.3332868531699313

Via exposure latitude / dynamic range:

K-1II (2000 EUR) wins hands down versus the D850 (3500 EUR):

https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/image-comparison/fullscreen?attr144_0=pentax_k1ii&attr144_1=nikon_d850&attr146_0=100_6&attr146_1=100_6&attr177_0=off&attr177_1=off&normalization=full&widget=608&x=-0.6281060958585387&y=0.3381461752929009

K-1II (2000 EUR) wins hands down versus the A7R III (3500 EUR):

https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/image-comparison/fullscreen?attr144_0=pentax_k1ii&attr144_1=sony_a7riii&attr146_0=100_6&attr146_1=100_6&attr177_0=off&attr177_1=off&normalization=full&widget=608&x=-0.6281060958585387&y=0.3381461752929009

Caveat:

Due to poor camera-to-chart alignment or similar issues the right side of the test chart is slightly out of focus and cant be used.

For fun:

Compare the detail retention in fine structures for the D810, which supposedly has the same sensor:

https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/image-comparison/fullscreen?attr144_0=pentax_k1ii&attr144_1=nikon_d810&attr146_0=100_6&attr146_1=100_6&attr177_0=off&attr177_1=off&normalization=full&widget=608&x=-0.6882270823638903&y=0.10900553944672567

Is that D810 star eater syndrome or already star field eater?

For practicioners:

If you can pull up shadows and retain more details in the Pentax K-1 II than on nearly twice as expensive cameras from Nikon/Sony, do you welcome that or do you prefer to discuss Fourier transforms and look at home generated curves and prefer the less detailed and more noisy images?

Just wondering.
