Exactly.  35 to 31 is a modest difference, let alone the actual difference between the two 23mm Fujis.  Yet here we are debating it.  Chucking in simply incorrect theory too (not directed at Mr Prevatt of course).  I often wonder how many people on threads like this actually take photographs for fun or work rather than simply enjoy and debate the gear.

Someone up thread has said they own both 23mm lenses and the difference is of no consequence.  Crop factors is as close to 1.5 as makes no difference (1.52 or 1.53 width and height).

Were photography based on a need to conduct exact calculations to take good photos the differences are barely noticeable, as what we do is judge the results visually nothing in this thread is at a magnitude where it matters, even remotely.
