Hello all,

Long time reader first time poster. I am torn between the Canon 16-35 f4L and the new Sigma 14-24 f2.8 Art. This would be for landscape and travel. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark iii. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I was one of the first to buy the 16-35 f/4L IS and still love the heck out of it. The IS function is solid and useful, and it is pretty sharp at the edges and corners even wide open. Most landscape photographers love this lens.

What do you do about the vignetting at the corners? Which editor do you use for that?

Just about every lens vignettes on the corners. For instance, it is especially noticeable on the spectacular 24-70 f/2.8L II until you hit about f/4.5. I use Photoshop, but all the really good photo editors let you clean up any vignetting with a single click.
