Damn "AI", as much as you want to hate it there is always a case that makes you need/want it.

I'll hold my breath until I can actually try that because as it turns out so far with similar deep learning techniques, the example are produced from edge cases (extreme noise) which makes the recovery quite impressive. So you'd expect this to work WONDER on less extreme cases and it turns out that's absolutely not true. We'll see what this particular algorithm is capable of, but I've seen several deep learning noise reduction applications that where producing simply unacceptable results when the noise was just above the "I cannot retouch this the usual way myself" threshold.
