Anyone considering adding SONY FF to their kit?

Yes lens profile corrections were on. The corners did finally sharpen at f8, but at which point for my usage I might as well use M43rds. The lens was an open box, so maybe it was previously returned for this issue. It's a shame as it was light and compact.

Re Nikon/Sony, if only we could see product roadmaps. If I'd known the G9 was coming I wouldn't have got the EM1 MK2 (though I like it a lot). However, Canon and Nikon keep their value well. When I traded in most of my Canon lenses for m43rds a few years back I actually got more than I originally paid for many of them as they were bought used.

The corner of that Batis does look very good, I'm still hoping there might be price offer on it like there was for the 85mm in the near future. From what I've read the 35 f2.8 is a great way to go super light with the Sony.

In answer to the OP's original question, I think we both agree it can be worth adding Sony to an M43rds system, depending on the type of photography.
