I am trying to make my photo Web site more updateable. I came across jAlbum. Is it any good? Is it flexible? Can I use thumbnails with different relative dimensions (H vs V)? I have some panoramas that are one foot by eight feet.

Anybody want to suggest an alternative to jAlbum. I do want my Web site on my domain, not on Flicker or something like that.

I have my photo albums generated using  Jalbum and hosted in

Of course you can use Jalbum just for building the gallery, and then upload it to your own website. License fee is reasonable.

Jalbum provide a wide flexibility for everything, by including a lot of different "skins" (templates). Each 'skin' then offer a wide choice of possible 'personalizations'.

My latest skin choice is "slide show 4", and I found it the best choice for showing Panos: look here:

Thumbnail size and aspect ratio are highly customizable, too.
