F-stop on V-Lux (114)

Hi all,

On a V-Lux (114) the minimum f-stop goes up as zoom increases from 2.8 to 4.0.

Does it also work out this way (increasing one stop) when I start at say 4.0 or 5.6? In other words, does my f-stop goes up likewise when I zoom in? Example: starting at 5.6 at 25mm eq., zooming in to say 200mm eq., does my actual f-value increase to 8.0? Or does it remain 5.6?

If anyone knows, I'd be happy if you share your knowledge with me/us.

Regards,
