A Good Upgrade

Hello,

A major supermarket has two new Canon 750D body only for sale at 350€ each, less tax, plus change that's about 350$... I find the same model for 450€ online delivered.

The catch is the boxes are in a terrible state, as if they had been used to play rugby!

I currently have a 600D, the flash is not working since I fell on top of my bag but everything else is working fine and I almost never used this flash, I have a small speedlight anyway.

I spare my money to find a good mirrorless replacement but this offer is very tempting as I have more than enough right now. This would dent my budget by two or three years since I don't want to spend it all on camera body.

Do you think it is worth going back to this shop and ask to check on the camera state?

Will my current grip work on this model?

I don't think so. But maybe I am wrong on that. It's just Canon has changing batteries later on.

What would you do?

I have different focus now, MILCs, so my situation is different. In your case, I think the 750d is a good upgrade. Just try to secure some sort of warranty, even if 3 months for the just in case happening.  I think you will find the AF in the 750d a big improvement. And some minor improvements in IQ.

Go for it!
