I see there are a lot of "buying this, buying that camera" threads here, so I will make one such exercise with some real values (money).
If one sells in moderate prices (ebay prices, for Europe, I said moderate, and most extras are given for free, or with very very low prices)
2 NX1 + 1 NX500 + 1 NX3000 + 1 battery grip + accessories (extra batteries, chargers, cases, Varavon cage, e. t. c.)
16-50PZ + 16-50 S + 10mm + 30mm + 45mm + 50-200 + 18-200 + 12-24
Metz 44i + Metz 44ii + Metz 26 + SEF42
The total is around 5.000 euros. It is just a total number, not very optimistic, not completely pessimistic, something doable and reasonable. It could be 1000 more, it could be 500 less.
I believe that most lenses are near, or at the top in their specific categories (except the 18-200).
The only choice that makes any sense, for anyone that do not want to go to a smaller sensor, or a bigger one, is Fuji. Is the only mirrorless company that have the lenses, and the pro bodies (Sony do not have any serious body, and lack in the lenses department, Canon has only a few lenses - most very amateurish, and no serious bodies, yet. Nikon does not compete, they will have a full frame mirrorless in mid 2019).
I want APS-C, something close to cinema's S35 for various reasons (aesthetically and practically). If I am trying Fuji, with logical choices (not as plenty as the NX ones!) then we have something like this.
Prices are for new equipment, in the local market. Of course we will compare used for new prices, so it is expected to have a huge difference, and no, we do not have U.S prices here, or B&H. Prices in euro.
2300euro X-H1 Body and Grip (Grip is mandatory for video time limit, battery, and headphone out!)
900euro X-T20 (I am not adding a 3rd or 4th camera)
1200euro 16-55mm 2.8f - no stabilization, bigger/heavier than the S, a bit slower in aperture
740euro 55-200mm 3.5-4.6f - a bit faster than the NX, similar in performance I guess, overall a consider it an upgrade
1000euro 10-24 4f - the Jewels of the Crown! the lens I really miss. 4f, stabilized, 10mm. Great.
470euros 27mm 2.8f - the 30mm is a better proposal in all.
520euros 50mm 2f - It is sealed, but I overall prefer the 45mm for a few reasons.
200euros for a Metz flash.
There are 2 other interesting lenses for me (23mm 1.4f for around 900euros, and the 50-140 close to 1500euros) but I wouldn't buy for starters, and there is no fish eye lens, which is very important.
So, in all we have for 2 bodies (and 1 grip!), 5 lenses and a flash 7330euros. I believe it can go down to 7000euros, if shop around and from other sources, but I am not sure how less it can go.
Now, the new X-H1 has an interesting 200Mbps codec, around 1 stop better ISO performance (maybe 1 and a half, I haven't seen the camera yet) and Eterna. In everything else, I consider the NX1 a better option.
Except the 10-24mm, Fuji is not a great upgrade, and in some aspects it is even a downgrade, while I can have 3 and 4 similar cameras for live events covering, or a lens per camera photography.
A few words for the rest.
A7iii 2300euros
Sony 24-70mm 2200, 70-200mm 2600, 16-35mm 2800euros. There will be Sigma's and Tamrons though.
M43 There are some Olympus lenses, the 12-100mm 4f is a great workhorse lens I use a lot with GH5 cameras for video work, but mostly, a speedbooster and an APS-C lens is a must.
Just my opinion, maybe will help some to clear their minds.
Wait to see what Fuji is coming out. The xt2 dates from 2016. After that, it is sure that the nx team will always have the best value for money ...
