Epson R800 Banding when using Glossy Paper

One of my Epson R800 printers is Banding (Horizontally same direction as print head travel) -- when using Photo Paper Plus Glossy II Paper. This is a Canon paper. This occurs with all different settings such as using 720 or 1440. Nozzle Check is perfect for all colors. There is NO visible banding when using (both Epson and Red River) Matte papers for printing same test images. Very light banding when using Photo Paper Pro Luster Canon paper. I am not using High Speed for any of the tests.

This R800 will not perform an Automatic Head Alignment. Displays message to use Manual -- so, I have done two manual print alignments. Reason for two is that I scanned the first print out pass for the 2nd alignment -- then opened the image in Photoshop to enlarge for a better view for (hopefully) selecting the best settings for the next part of that procedure. I am aware that there must be a perfect Nozzle Check before doing an alignment -- see above..

I have printed this test image on another R800 plus my R1800, using same Glossy Paper with NO banding on either of these printers.

Any thoughts or suggestions to rectify the described conditions would be appreciated.
