Mirrorless cams and hot pixels

On my Canon 7D, when I took 30 second exposures, I could get some hot pixels.  I’ve been told this is because of sensor heating. Because of this, I keep LiveView use to a minimum. I use the feature, but I don’t keep LiveView engaged for five or ten minutes while shooting.  I shoot and then turn LV off.

It would seem that overheating and hot pixels would be a bigger problem for a mirrorless camera.  Is it?
