Anyone using a cheap handheld stabilizer for video?

As I play around more with video, was wondering if anyone had feedback on using something like the SuteFoto Steadicam or Roxant series. Seems like it could be a cheap way to get steadier handheld footage, especially when walking. A couple of the reviews mention that it didn't work as well with a lighter camera (one with a G7) as compared to a DSLR.

Also, given how good IBIS is getting in M43 cameras (I will likely eventually upgrade from my GX7 to a GX9, Pen F, or something similarly small and stabilized), would the results from a steadicam not be significantly better than what I could get with practice just hand-holding the camera?
