What is your single most important focal length?

If you have to shoot with only fixed/prime lens (whatever the situation be) then what focal length would you go for?

I shall go for 23 or 24 mm in APS-C camera. This is what I find best for general photography covering landscape, architecture, indoor etc. Some people prefer 35 mm (APS-C) but I find it bit like telephoto.

May be this is why Fujifilm X100 opted for 23 mm fixed lens?

PS: Analyzing my photos, I found I mostly shot with 18 mm (of a zoom lens) but if having to choose a single focal length I'd choose 23 mm.

Fujifilm FinePix X100
