XT2 Screen - Composing from Rear Screen - Stability?

Hi all - quick question for any XT2 users:

My wife and I are planning on getting a new mirror-less. I was looking at Sonys but now back to Fujis. Anyway, I prefer shooting through a viewfinder but my wife prefers holding the camera out and composing from the rear screen.

My question is, given the lack of IBIS in the Fuji (and assuming we'll use non-stabilized primes) - can anyone speak from experience as to whether composing from the rear screen is a viable option? I know it's not the most stable shooting position but we're used to using Olympus mirrorless with IBIS, so not sure how much of an impact it has.

Thanks in advance!
