Need recommendations for first studio set up

I am an equestrian photographer so my photography is almost always outside but I would like to be able to set up a temporary studio inside a barn or an indoor riding ring when I do workshops so we can take some studio flash photography with the horses and people. And likely do some flash photography outside as well.

I’m looking for recommendations on what equipment I would need to set that kind of thing up knowing that it would be temporary and a small percentage of my work and hopefully mobile enough to take around to other barns.  And considering the size of my subject, the horse, what size lights/soft box, etc would you recommend? Minimal but useful set up is what I’m looking for as I’m not sure how much of this I’ll actually do but I’d like to play with it.

Thanks
