Clear view and how best to use it on a NEX6

Hi everyone.

Well, I am getting to know my new NEX6. I have an 18-200 LE version lens as well as the kit lens. I have discovered this thing called clear view and am wondering how best to use it.

On my 16-50 it is automatically in place and seem to extend the zoom range by X2 does this mean that effectively the lens is 16-100? Or even 16-200 if I use the digital X2 as well.

My other question is can I set the camera up so clear view is available to my 18-200 lens without having to press a few buttons first. I have added it to the AEL button but this is still two steps away from the way it is on the smaller lens.
