Birds at the Cambridge, ON Wetland

Had some fun today at the small wetland in Cambridge. Just a few sunflower seeds attracted all these birds. Nothing exotic, but a good variety.

Black capped Chickadee getting his sunflower seed

Going into the branches to work on opening the seed

Madame Cardinal. There were a total of four female. One lonely male kept his distance

Hey you, where are my seeds

Ok, thank you

Chickadee asking for permission?

The contortionist

Just a common sparrow. But it looks like they also get out the mating colours

A couple of mourning doves

These guys are very friendly

A little Downy came also to pick up a seed

Eventually they were just 4 feet away from me. The E18-200 OSS works pretty well over its entire range
