Sold my D750 & leaving Nikon
25

Hello. Just for your info, not debate. Just the observations on simple answer why this person changed from Nikon to Fujifilm.

No longer have a Nikon camera after more than a decade starting with CP8800 and finally, using many models successfully, with the last and the best Nikon for me: the D750.

Many great lenses including the newer 200-500mm Nikkor, again one of Nikon's best, along with a few primes, the venerable go anywhere 28-300 VR and the 70-200mm f4VR.

Thanks for all the info and insight over the years in this and other Nikon fora. Some samples:

Why? Simple answer in part. My aging body with aches and pain, neck, back and knee and relative weight differential as I am a walk about photographer most of the time.  Happily fully recovered from open heart surgery last August so stamina and energy are no longer limitations! More than 1 to 3 lbs difference depending on combination.

My solution Fujifilm's mirrorless X-T1 and now X-T2. Why? Simple answer in part. Weight differential. Secondly. Not as good yet in a few areas such as focus acquisition and precision accuracy but very close. Decision made after a winter in Florida and a couple of years with Fuji as second camera system.

Will I reconsider Nikon again? Sure, if Nikon ever comes up with a (lighter and competent) mirrorless system as the Fuji X system.

Cross posted in both fora.
