Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 rattle?
Hi, wondered if anyone can help me?
I just got a Quattro with a 17-50mm. I've had a very quick look at it from my desk and it seems to be ok, but if I take the lens off and tip it from side to side it makes a very pronounced rattle like the glass inside it is moving? Is this just the OS glass clunking about or is this a faulty/damaged lens?
I've never experienced this before and dont have another lens to compare it too.
Images look fine - maybe a touch more CA wide open than I expected and I cant replicate the noise with the camera turned on?
