Dual monitor color calibartion
1

I have dual monitors they are twins of each other, single graphics card runs both, however it supports individual color files per monitor.

I am using the Xrite color calibrator however I can see a difference between the two monitors after calibration, one looks 'warmer' than the other and one seems to show more detail in the shadows. I specifically purchased the xrite for the reason of having matched monitors, now I'm reading some things that say you can't expect to have dual monitors that match. I guess I don't understand the basics of this process, as I thought the whole point of using a color calibrator was to match a display to a certain spec, so why can't you match 10 monitors to all look the same? I don't get it.
