Help! Water on/in XF 18-55mm

Hi guys!

I used a rocket air blower to blow off some dust from my XF 18-55mm.

Just after I used it I learned that the kids used it to play with water the day before ... so the result is that I blew some residual water from the rocket air blower onto my lens... just into the gaps around the aperture wheel.

I dried it off with a tissue and also tried to fit the tissue into the gaps to dry it. I am afraid that the water found its way deeper into the lens as it was blown with some pressure on the lens into the gaps.

1. Do I dry my the lens just in the room (RH approx 50-60%)? Or shall I pack it into a sealed plastic bag with some desiccants (silica gel sachets). I tested it quickly and could reach a RH of about 44%?

2. How long would you let the camera dry?

3. How likely would you think the lens took some damage?

I would appreciate any help!

Thank you
