Why, oh why did Sony build the RX10 IV without a fully articulated screen?

As chocked full of features as it is, I am bumfuzzled why Sony decided not to include a fully articulated screen.  Looking at the video features and capabilities, I can't for the life of me figure out why they decided to close the door on vloggers.  Not that it can't be done anyway; but, sheesh, why make it so difficult and cumbersome.

Anyway, just a puzzlement; I'm really stumped on this.

The guy(s) who made that decision are sure peter-principle poster boys.

I'm considering it as an all-in-one for most situations and for its 600mm EFL reach and ran into that in my past notes.  I thought surely I had made a mistake and had to go back and confirm.
