When do you service your camera?

When do you service your camera?

I recently had to send my D750 in for service after an electronic failure and the camera was no longer usable. I sent my D800 in a couple of years ago when the AF seemed to be off, they did a CLA and the camera worked like or actually better than new again. I'm now going to send my old D700 in for a CLA and have them go over it, simply because it's an older camera that has never been serviced. It does have one button that acts a little loose but isn't a big deal in use.
So I'm wondering: how do other people see servicing a camera.

I send my camera in annually for a checkup, even if it's working OK.

I send my camera in every few years for a checkup, even if it's working OK.

I send my camera in when I first notice something doesn't seem 100% right, even if there is a reliable work around.
